Housekeeper

About the Role:

As a Housekeeper in our homecare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ living environments are clean, organized, and comfortable. This position is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing a safe and pleasant space for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough cleaning of clients’ homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
  • Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing clothes.
  • Assist with meal preparation and kitchen cleanup, ensuring a hygienic food preparation area.
  • Replenish supplies and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the home environment well-organized and functional.
  • Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to the supervisory team.
  • Ensure that all tasks are completed with respect to the clients’ preferences and privacy.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
  • Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Respect for clients’ privacy and property.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
