Housekeeper
About the Role:
As a Housekeeper in our homecare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ living environments are clean, organized, and comfortable. This position is crucial in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and providing a safe and pleasant space for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of clients’ homes, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, ironing, and organizing clothes.
- Assist with meal preparation and kitchen cleanup, ensuring a hygienic food preparation area.
- Replenish supplies and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep the home environment well-organized and functional.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or repair needs to the supervisory team.
- Ensure that all tasks are completed with respect to the clients’ preferences and privacy.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper or in a similar cleaning role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Respect for clients’ privacy and property.
- Must pass a background check.
- Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to reach, kneel, and bend.
