Assistant

About the Role:

As a Caregiver Assistant in our homecare business, you will be instrumental in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering support in their omes. This role is focused on assisting with daily activities and household tasks, providing companionship, and ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform essential housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and basic home maintenance.
  • Assist with meal preparation, ensuring clients have access to nutritious and enjoyable meals.
  • Provide companionship to clients, engaging in conversation, recreational activities, or accompanying them on walks and social outings.
  • Help with shopping and running errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.
  • Offer reminders for medication intake as per the prescribed schedule.
    Assist with organizational tasks, like sorting mail and helping manage household paperwork.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client’s condition or household to the supervisory team.
  • Respect and maintain the confidentiality of all client information.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Empathy, patience, and a caring demeanor.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is advantageous.
  • Must successfully complete a background check.
  • Training in First Aid and CPR is beneficial.
